Could use some tweaking, desperately.
The original video is in Chinese which is fitting considering that it's about Shaolin style martial arts. The problem is that the subtitles are too large for the video and take out quite a portion of the screen. This is especially a problem considering that the main portion of the video is shot from a distance and panning over a group without giving enough time to see how several of the more complex moves are performed properly. The first two thirds of the video shows a group of children performing a list of basic warm-ups between stretching the legs, kicking, punching, combos, and then what looks to be a single form at the end after tumbles.
Not exactly an ancient Chinese secret, but it's an interesting video. A clear leftover from the late 70's, early 80's and VHS quality at best. Personally, I'd love to see this video concept redone with an update on the martial arts' historical figures depicted in the last few minutes of the video, perhaps without the Contra Sound...
Good for wushu
I didn't get a chace to watch the whole thing but ,is basic Wushu Tranning.I had a Wushu teacher and would teach the same thing .Not Shoulin but government Wushu.
