Not only a film but a movement please see this for the sake of all.
The first thing I have to say is about the last thing in the film, the credits. The film ends with a democratic alphabetical lists of the "Hundreds that made this film possible." This is releasing all sense of role and ego connected with the production of the film. The film is about the human revolution that happens on an individual level. A film about war, rape, hatred and greed would seem to be a downer but music and hope carries the film forward in a way, dare I say, you can dance to it. This is a rare task that I have only seen in ABC Africa, an incredible Abbas Kiarostami film about the Aids crisis in Africa that also manages to be uplifting. It was the death of a great hero of independent film Goerge Gund, that cause me to watch this as a way of celebrating his life. He and Iara Lee although only listing within the Hundreds of credits are visionaries that will always live on in the legacy of hope.
